A PRodcast™ is the marriage of PR (public relations) tips + podcast, combined with a little bit of entertainment and chit-chat.

Our special guest for July is SIMON KEARS (above), the Marketing Manager for Nexus Media Communications, the organization responsible for putting on the ECOC (European Conference on Optical Communications). This year's event will be in Berlin, Germany in mid-September, and Simon will not only discuss his stories of working with various PR & marketing folks, but what it's like ... the trials and tribulations ... of organizing and putting on a major trade show in a different country each year.

The Manning Group (TMG) CEO Bruce Manning talks about several topics on his mind these days.

First of all, Bruce briefly chats about his impressions of SEMICON West in San Francisco in mid-July, and what he saw. And also about chance meeting he had with a dedicated PRodcast listener from Spain ... who was visiting the US and recognized Bruce while he was strolling around the famous Pier 39 after the trade show.

Another topic this month is his urging for all listeners who do trade shows to think "outside the box" when displaying your products or live demos. You need to have differentiators, and if your product really is so different, then find a way to prove it in a unique way.
